A team of 12 members from the Centre for Disability Studies and Empowerment (CDSE), NLUJ, have been selected to join the prestigious United Nations Millennium Fellowship 2025. The Fellowship is highly selective, with over 60,000 applicants from 7,500+ campuses worldwide. This year, only 290+ campuses (just 4%) will host 4,000+ Millennium Fellows-and NLUJ is proud to be among them.
The selected fellows are Samay Tulsyan, Arjun Bajaj, Chhavi Chawla, Shanvi Chandra, Yug Gandhi, Atharva Dwivedi, Meenakshi Meena, Rohit Meena, Ruth Abraham, Vibhuti Shyam, Bhanu Prakash, and Vikram Patel.
Their project seeks to bridge the gap between access for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and the Government by raising awareness of rights and welfare schemes available to PwDs. The team will also conduct sensitization programs in mainstream offices and schools to encourage inclusivity and accessibility across workplaces and institutions.
This recognition reflects not only the vision of the fellows but also National Law University Jodhpur’s commitment to advancing equality, empowerment, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
