Hon'ble Mr. Justice K.R. Shriram is an eminent jurist who has had a distinguished stint at the Bar and Bench. Equipped with an LL.M. from the famed King’s College London, he practised in commercial matters with specialization in Shipping and International Trade Law, Writ matters arising out of Ports Acts, Customs Act, Motor Vehicles Act, Marine Insurance, Company Law Matters etc. at the Maharashtra & Goa High Courts before his elevation in the Maharashtra High Court in 2013. His Lordship was elevated as Chief Justice of the Madras High Court in 2024 and has ascended to the position of Chief Justice at Rajasthan High Court and our Chancellor from 21 July 2025.
