Lt. Colonel Harshvir Hands Over Approval Letter for Allotment of NCC Sub-Unit to Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur

Jodhpur, 9 September 2026: Through the concerted efforts and able guidance of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, and the Registrar, Dr. Sunita Pankaj, the NCC Army Wing Sub-Unit was successfully allotted to the National Law University, Jodhpur. Following the acceptance of online applications received from students, a written examination and interview were conducted as part of the final stage of the selection process.

Lt. Colonel Harshvir, 2 Raj Armd Squadron NCC, Jodhpur, was present at the University to conduct the final selection process through a written examination and interview. Students of the University participated enthusiastically in the selection process.

The NCC initiative aims to foster discipline, leadership, a spirit of national service and a sense of responsibility among students, while contributing to their overall personality development.

On the occasion, Lt. Colonel Harshvir, 2 Raj Armd Squadron NCC, Jodhpur, formally handed over the Approval Letter for the Allotment of the NCC Sub-Unit at National Law University, Jodhpur to the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur.

On the occasion, Deputy Registrar Wing Commander Dinesh Malik (Retd.), and Dr. Pran Banjara, Assistant Professor and NCC CTO, were also present.

The allotment of the NCC Sub-Unit at NLUJ marks an important step towards providing students with opportunities to develop discipline, leadership, responsibility and a spirit of national service. On the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur highlighted the significance of the initiative in promoting the overall development and leadership capabilities of students through NCC.
