National Law University, Jodhpur, hosted a prestigious felicitation ceremony on 9 July 2025 to commemorate the occasion of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Sandeep Mehta, Judge, Supreme Court of India being nominated as Visitor of the University and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Vijay Bishnoi, Judge, Supreme Court of India being nominated as Member, General Council.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Harpreet Kaur welcomed the eminent guests and gave a brief overview of the all-round expansion being undertaken at the University. Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble Visitor Justice Mehta pointed out the multiple arenas in which the University can expand, the emerging areas of legal practice meriting academic scrutiny and deliberation and encouraged the stakeholders to aspire for the zenith. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Bishnoi pointed out the lasting contribution made by various members of the Bench from the state of Rajasthan in bringing the institution to its present stature. Dr. Sunita Pankaj, Registrar delivered the vote of thanks.
