A delegation from the University including Dr. Archi Mathur, CoE; Dr. Rashmi Mathur, Dean IQA; Dr. Manisha Mirdha, Dean, Students' Welfare and Dr. Chitra Saruparia, Asst. Dean, UG Council participated in the Women Leaders Meet hosted by UGC on 13 December 2024 at IIT Delhi.
The theme of the Leaders Meet was "Shaping Academic Excellence for Vikshit Bharat 2047" and it involved extensive consultation on the pivotal role played by women in shaping the academic trajectory of higher education in the future.
The Meet was addressed by Hon'ble Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education; Hon'ble Shri Sukanta Majumdar, Minister of State for Education; Shri M. Jagdish Kumar, Chairman, UGC as well as experts from various specialised domains who shed light on various facets related to their own experiences and the shaping of their sojourn.
The delegation from the University benefited immensely from the interaction and exchange of ideas.
