On 6th August, 2024, Prof. Shilan Shah Davis, Academic Director at Bristol Law School, University of the West of England visited NLUJ. During her visit to NLUJ, Prof. Shah-Davis met Prof. Harpreet Kaur, Vice Chancellor, NLUJ and discussed the possible collaborative opportunities. Prof. Kaur mentioned recent collaborations of NLUJ with eminent institutions across the globe. Prof. Kaur discussed mutually benefitting ways of collaboration for faculty development and student academic and career enhancement with Prof. Shah Davis. Later, Prof. Shah Davis addressed the students on the topic “Child Labour and Human Right.” The students found her session engaging and interactive. This session was followed by a session on “Research methodology and methods” for faculty members. Faculty members interacted with Prof. Shah Davis in an enthusiastic manner and welcomed the idea of opening the platform of further discussion and knowledge exchange between NLUJ and Bristol Law School.
