Thevaledictory session of National Law University Jodhpur (NLUJ) and Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India Two-Week Special Training Programme on Contract Management and Negotiation Skillsfor attorneys from the Office of the Attorney General of Tanzaniawas conducted on5th May2024. The valedictory ceremony was conducted in the benign presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, National Law University, Jodhpur Prof. Harpreet Kaur, Chief Guest of the ceremony Shri. Rajendra Prasad, Advocate General, State of Rajasthan and Mr. Shaaban R. Abdalla, Deputy Attorney General, Office of the Attorney General of Tanzania.
During this two-week programme which started on 23rd April 2024, sessions were conducted by legal luminaries and experts on the theme ofContract Management and Negotiation Skills Prof. Harpreet Kaur, Prof. K.V.S Sarma, Dr, Aman Hingorani,Dr. R.K. Purohit, Dr. Yogesh Pai, Dr. Bipin Kumar, Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh,Dr. NeetiMathur, Dr. Anand Kumar Singh, Ms. Purti Gupta and Mr. Vinod D. enlightened the participants with their insights into diverse topics related to the theme.
The programme was inaugurated bythe Chief Guest, Justice Hemant Gupta, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India. The unique features of the programme were the workshops and panel discussion, an interactive workshop on contract management was conducted by Prof. Harpreet Kaur, the panellists Mr. Vikas Balia, Mr. Vinay Kothari and Dr. Abhishek Sinha discussed the practical challenges related to contract management and their solutions.
The participants also explored the culture of Rajasthan with their visits to Mehrangarh Fort coordinated by Shri Mahendra Singh Tanwar, Osian sand dunes, and various other prominent places in Jodhpur.The participants visited Rajasthan High Court, IIT Jodhpur and Surpura Village which is adopted by NLUJ.
