The Honorable Vice-Chancellor of National Law University Jodhpur, Professor Dr. Harpreet Kaur, has approved the establishmentof the NLU Jodhpur Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Women. Dr. Kaur has appointed Dr. Neeti Mathur to lead the activities of this Center.
On December 7, 2023, the National Law University Jodhpur and the Arid Forest Research Institute Jodhpur (AFRI) organized a one-day program to promote women entrepreneurship and sustainability. In this program, 24 women participants from the village of Surpura, which is adopted by NLU Jodhpur, were trained by Dr. Sangita Singh and Dr. Sangita Tripathi from the AFRI team on bio-fertilizer, organic pickle and soap manufacturing. The practical training of this program was given in Surpura with the cooperation of Surpura Sarpanch Shri Dinesh Bishnoi and Dr. Anjali Thanvi from NLUJ.
The National Law University Jodhpur and the Arid Forest Research Institute Jodhpur (AFRI) have jointly completed various developmental activities to promote women entrepreneurship recently.
On December 1, 2023, Professor Dr. Harpreet Kaur and Dr. Neeti Mathur visited AFRI Jodhpur and discussed the possibilities of collaboration between the two institutions with the AFRI team. During this visit, AFRI Director Shri M.R. Baloch apprised Professor Kaur of AFRI's activities. Senior Scientist, AFRI Dr. Tarun Kant gave a detailed presentation of AFRI's various projects.
