National Law University Jodhpur celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and national pride on 15 August 2025. The celebration, organised by the University’s Cultural Committee, commenced at 9:30 AM in the University Auditorium.
The programme began with the flag hoisting ceremony, where the Tricolour was unfurled by Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur Vice-Chancellor, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. In her address, Madam Vice-Chancellor highlighted the significance of freedom and the responsibilities of citizens in nation-building.
Students and faculty presented a vibrant cultural programme featuring patriotic songs, dance performances, and poetry recitations dedicated to the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters.
The celebration witnessed active participation from students, faculty, and staff, making it a memorable occasion that reinforced the values of unity, patriotism, and service to the nation.
