Assistant Professor

Dr. Kanika Dhingra is working as an Assistant Professor in Faculty of Law at National Law University, Jodhpur. She joined the University in the year 2017 and has spent over six years teaching at the University. She has completed her specialisation in Intellectual Property Rights and has been administering papers such as Law Relating to Intellectual Property Rights, Patent Law & practice, Patent Specification Drafting and Claim Construction, International IP Law & Policy, Law of Trademarks as well as Intellectual Property Valuation and Management. Prior to joining National Law University, Jodhpur, she had also worked as an Assistant Professor at law college affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, Delhi for a year.

She is presently the Executive Director for the Centre for Consumer Law Research & Practice at the University. She is also a Member of the Centre for Intellectual Property Studies and the Centre for Competition Law and Policy. She is also the Faculty Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Studies and Managing Editor for the Indian Competition Law Review.

She is also a Member of the Subject Allocation, Time-Table and Workload Committee as well as the University’s Mess Committee. She also holds the responsibility of the Chief Warden (Girls) for the University Halls of Residence (Girls).
