Dr. Suresh Kumar Dotania (Law)
Assistant Professor

Dr. Suresh Kumar Dotania serves as Assistant Professor (Law) at National Law University, Jodhpur. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur titled “A Study of Accountability of Artificial Intelligence with Respect to Copyright in the Present Digital Era: A Comparative Analysis with Special Reference to UK and USA” and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar. He is also a B.Sc. LL.B. graduate from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar and a UGC NET qualifier in Law.

Dr. Suresh combines teaching, research and professional experience in his academic work. Prior to joining NLU Jodhpur, he served as a Legal Manager in Bank of India. He previously taught at Jaipur National University, where he played an active role in teaching law and handling various institutional responsibilities.

His area of interests lies in Intellectual Property Law, Contract Law, Banking Law and Criminal Procedure areas in which he has taught and published extensively. His publication contributions include to SCOPUS-indexed and peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Suresh is a committed academician and an active participant in seminars, conferences and faculty development programs across the country. With a strong belief in collaborative learning and interdisciplinary approaches Dr. Suresh continues to mentor, teach and contribute to legal research at NLU Jodhpur.
