The Center for Family Law (CFL) at National Law University, Jodhpur, was established in 2023 to fosteropen and informed discussions on matters of relevance in the arena of Family Law.
Our Mission:
At CFL, we recognise that Family Law is no longer confined to traditional norms but extends into gender equality, civil rights, and progressive perspectives. Our mission is to:
⦁ Promote open and informed discourse on Family Law in the context of evolving societal dynamics.
⦁ Spark curiosity and facilitate discussions that address the diverse needs of individuals and families.
⦁ Bridge the gap between tradition and modernity within the legal framework.
Our Work:
The Center has organised discussions and sessions on contentious family law topics, such as Marriage equality and the Uniform Civil Code.These events have brought together academicand policy perspectives and have facilitated a constructive dialogue among stakeholders. We have also disseminated our research findings through social media.
The Center shall soon be publishing blogs on its website; this will serve as a platform for sharing insights, opinions, and experiences and inviting feedback and comments from our readerson contemporary family law issues.
