The Center aims at increasing capacity for rigorous gender analysis and to promote awareness of its relevance in historic, economic, political, social and scientific contexts.The Center has been greeted with success in each of the many activities it has undertaken, such as the organization of awareness drives, gender sensitization initiatives, seminars and symposiums at the international and the national levels, and in its collaborations with NGO’s. The Center for Gender Studies, is bifurcated into three sub-groups, which are Anusandhan (Research Team), Spandan(Discourse Team) and Jagriti (Awareness Team).
