The Center for Insolvency and Bankruptcy Studies (CIBS) is the newest addition to the list of Centers functional under the aegis of National Law University, Jodhpur. It was established in the August, 2019 with anobjective to pursue and encourage innovative scholarship and research in the Insolvency and the Bankruptcy laws.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE CENTER
•To pursue and encourage innovative scholarship and research in the Insolvency and the Bankruptcy laws
•Contribute to national and international debates through engaging in dynamic and internationally relevant research.
•Collaborate with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India and other government organizations, higher educational institutions, individuals and academicians at other higher educational institutions and professional member organizations in broadening the scope of academic endeavor, and to transfer knowledge beyond the academic sector.
•The Center also aims to collaborate and enter into partnership with other functional Centers of National Law University, Jodhpur to achieve common goals and interfacial studies in the area.
