15th NLU Antitrust Law Moot Court Competition

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the 15th NLU Antitrust Law Moot Court Competition, held from 15-17 March at the National Law University under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Jodhpur.  The event was in collaboration with CCI (Competition Commission of India) and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and our knowledge partners for the event were SCC Online, and Eastern Book Company. This competition aims to enhance legal education by providing intellectually stimulating opportunities. The Inaugural of the event took place on 15th March 2024, and the Chief Guest of the Event were Mr. Augustine Peter, (Former Member Competition Commission of India).
With over 36 teams from renowned law schools across the country participating, the competition provided a platform to delve into complex issues of competition law and refine moot court skills. Teams were judged through rigorous stages, including preliminary and reverse preliminary rounds, Octa-finals, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals, and the final rounds.
We express our gratitude to our esteemed judges of the final round, including Mr. Kirthi Srinivas (Partner, CAM), Mr. Vijay Pratap Singh Chauhan (Partner, CAM), Mr. Dhruv Rajain (Partner, CAM), Mr. K. D. Singh (Director, Competition Advocacy, CCI), and Mr. Samar Bansal (Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India), for their contributions.
Following rigorous competition, NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies) emerged as the winner, with Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law as the runner-up. We commend all participating teams for their dedication and sincere efforts.
