Two-Day National Training Program on Human Rights

The National Law University Jodhpur, and the National Human Rights Commission has jointly organized a Two-Day National Training Program on Human Rights. The training is scheduled to take place in the University campus from March 5, to March 6 2024. The objective of this training program is to foster a deep understanding of various human rights issues, empower participants, and promote meaningful discussions.
The inaugural ceremony of the programme commenced with the addresses by Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the National Law University, Jodhpur, anddistinguished guest of the programmeMs. Anita Sinha (IRS), Joint Secretary, NHRC. Dr. Anjali Thanvi, Faculty In-Charge, and esteemed speakers, extended a warm welcome to the participants and emphasized on the significance of the event.
Subsequently in programme, several sessions are scheduled to be conducted by the distinguished speakers, covering various aspects of human rights. On the opening day, Dr. Daniel Matthew delivered a speech on the importance of human rights. Dr. C.B. Sharma, IPS (Retd.), organized a session on “Cyber Security in the Digital Age,” providing crucial insights into challenges and solutions in the evolving landscape. Dr. C.B. Sharma’s colleague and certified cyber expert, Dr. Swati Vashisht, also contributed valuable perspectives and suggested some steps to be undertaken by individuals to better protect themselves in the cyber world.
