National Law University Jodhpur (NLUJ) and Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC), Special Training Programme participants’ visit to Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur

On 21st February 2024 the participants of National Law University Jodhpur (NLUJ) and Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India Special Training Programme from the Office of the Attorney General of Nepalvisited Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur.

As a part of this programme, 30 participants along the Attorney General of Nepal Dr. Dina Mani Pokharel and Deputy Attorney General of Nepal Mr. Bishwo Raj Koirala visited the Rajasthan High Court Museum and Library. An interactive session with the Chief Justice of Rajasthan and Chancellor of National Law University, Jodhpur Hon’ble Mr. Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava and Hon’ble Justice Pushpendra Bhati, Judge, Rajasthan High Court. On the Dais Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of National Law University, Jodhpur Prof. Harpreet Kaur and Attorney General of Nepal Dr. Dina Mani Pokharel were present along with the Lordships.The Lordships covered significant aspects of criminal justice system. The participants were elated to have the interactive session with the Lordships.

The programme concluded with presentation of mementos as token of gratitude to Hon’ble Justice Shrivastava and Hon’ble Justice Bhati by Prof. Kaur. The attorney general of Nepal expressed his gratitude towards Prof Kaur, NLUJ and Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur for organising this visit. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Manisha Mirdha. In this visit, NLUJ ITEC programme coordinators Mr. Renjith Thomas, Dr. Neeti Mathur, Mr. Sarthak Mishra and team of students and staff was present. The NLUJ ITEC programme started on 19th February 2024 and will end on 1st March 2024. The theme of this programme is criminal justice and forensic sciences.
