On 15 February 2024, MoU was signed between National Law University- Jodhpur- King’s college London. Prof. Harpreet Kaur, Vice Chancellor, National Law University, Jodhpur emphasizes on the internationalisation of the University. This MoU was proposed with the view of promoting joint degree programmes, faculty and student exchange programmes. She believes that the faculty and students must channelise their potential in research work related to various streams of law. Professor Alexander Turk, Professor of Law and Vice Dean (International), Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London visited National Law University Jodhpur. He was received by Mr. Ankit Singhal, Registrar at National Law University, Jodhpur campus. Later he was welcomed by Prof. Harpreet Kaur. During his visit to NLU Jodhpur he interacted with the faculty members and the students. He was briefed about the initiatives undertaken by the University and the various research centres running under the aegis of the University. He also discussed collaboration of these centres and joint activities that might be undertaken under the aegis of this MoU. This MoU focusses on joint degree programmes, faculty exchange and Ph.D student exchange. This MoU will be helpful in promoting in research collaborations between the two institutes. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Neeti Mathur and the team of students at NLU Jodhpur. On 16th February, 2024, Professor Turk will deliver a lecture on “Institutional Architecture of Financial Regulation in the European Union” and he will also interact with the students and faculty members in the National Law University Jodhpur Auditorium.
