Dr. Ruth Vaiphei (Corporate Law)
Assistant Professor

Dr. Ruth Vaiphei graduated in Law from the North-Eastern Hill University (Central University), Shillong. She began her professional journey in legal practice before the Hon’ble Meghalaya High Court and the Lower courts. Thereafter, she pursued her Master’s in Corporate Law from the National Law University, Jodhpur, and went on to earn her Doctorate in Corporate Law from ICFAI University, Dehradun.

Before entering academia, Dr. Vaiphei gained corporate experience with Thomson Reuters. She commenced her academic career as an Assistant Professor at Modi University, Rajasthan, and later joined The ICFAI University, Dehradun, in February 2018. In December 2019, she became a part of the National Law University, Jodhpur, where she currently serves as Assistant Professor.

With over seven years of professional and academic experience, her teaching and research interests primarily lie in Corporate Law, ADR, Forensic Science and Gender Studies.
