Dr. Renjith Thomas is an Assistant Professor at National Law University, Jodhpur, and has dedicated more than a decade to academic pursuits at the University. He currently offers courses on substantive and procedural criminal law for the undergraduate programmes and the course “Evolving Perspectives on Crime and Punishment” for the LL.M. programme.
He serves as the Chief Editor of the NLUJ Law Review. He is also the Executive Director of the Centre for Criminal Law and Forensic Justice Studies, NLUJ, and the Centre for Litigation Studies, NLUJ.
His administrative roles include membership in the following University Committees:

Renjith holds a B.A. (Law), LL.B. degree from Government Law College, Trivandrum (Kerala University), an LL.M. in Criminal Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, and a Ph.D. from National Law University, Jodhpur. In 2018, he was a visiting scholar at the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford.
