Mr. Ashish Barua has 16 years of teaching experience in teaching both graduate and post-graduate students. Prior to joining, National Law University, Jodhpur, he has worked as  Associate Professor, at Indian Institute of Rural Management and Institute of Rural Management, Jaipur-Jodhpur. He was also a visiting faculty to couple of universities and business schools of India. He is at present working as Assistant Professor at, National Law University Jodhpur. He specializes in finance, banking, insurance, and economics. He has presented a research report on OTC derivative to RBI, for a major RBI sponsored research project conferred to  the National Law University, Jodhpur. He has authored 12 books on economics, finance, insurance and management, which are being published by national and international publishers from India, USA, UK, Germany. He has developed his own concept of population known as New Concept of Population, which is being published and promoted by national and international publishers. He has also to his credit 6 research paper published in a reputed journals and 35  articles on various topics of general interest published in different  magazines and journals. Besides, he is also writing for the past 16 years for Indian express group magazines. He has participated in 12 national seminars/conferences and presented papers. He  has also  received UGC and ICSSR fellowship for research, and awards for excellence in academics and contribution to the society.
