Dr. Seema Arora is Deputy Director & Adjunct associate professor in School of Insurance Studies since last 16 years.
She teaches Principles and practice of life Insurance, Life Insurance application and underwriting, Group Insurance and pensions, Actuarial aspects of Insurance and Health Insurance .
She has worked with Life Insurance Corporation of India for 17 years in various roles and diverse areas viz. Pension and group schemes , Claims , Policy servicing , Salary saving schemes, office servicing, Underwriting and Accounts. She is a fellow member of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai and holds a fellowship in Insurance.
She has participated and presented several papers in various National and International Conferences and has delivered expert lectures in training sessions/ Seminars / Insurance awareness programs. She has successfully done a project work for Star health Insurance Company ltd. in 2013 . She organized a National Seminar under the aegis of National Law University, Jodhpur on the theme ” Insurance as a vehicle for weaving social security for women ” in 2016.
She worked as chief course coordinator for Post graduate courses for 6 years, and also worked as member of Post graduate placement and Internship Bureau for 8 years at the University. Currently, member of Deans & Directors' committee and Course- coordinator for MBA (Insurance) program.
