CENTER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS, WOMEN EMPOWERMENT AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT

The Center aims at development of liasoning with various Non-Governmental Organisations working at grassroots level on issues of concern in human rights education, training and research namely Gender, Health, Property and Social action. By virtue of the networking with the institutions established with Amnesty International, Global Rights, BSF; and, International NGOs like UNDP and UNFPA, the Center has organized a number of workshops, training programs, seminars; and State level and National level legal consultations. The Center has also undertaken publication of reading materials meant for specific cross sections of the society like Advocates in relation to gender and law. The Center is currently involved in establishing long-term initiatives with support partners and is  working on the organization of national seminars and importantly, developing working and policy papers. 

The mission of Center is to institutionalize human rights in civil society within the Indian context actively engaged with civil society and state to realize the ultimate aim-dignity, respect, protection and development of every child.
